Kerala has proposed a 473-km fully solar-powered high-speed rail corridor connecting Thiruvananthapuram and Kannur in just 3.5 hours. Designed by E. Sreedharan, the ₹60,000-crore project could become the world's first green high-speed rail network with 23 stations and links to three airports.
